Many years ago it was a dark time in Pugville and the streets were riddled with crime. No one was safe, not even in their own dog house! But when Mayor Chadworth Puggington was elected, he vowed to make a change! A long decorated war hero who won the purple bone award for his bravery in the war against the Parisian Poodles saw his fellow country-pugs living in fear and despair. He decided to fight one last war, but this time on his home turf.
One night when he was sleeping and dreaming of chasing his tail, he woke up to a vision of a new world, a world where Pugs could feel safe in their own doghouses, walk their pups to school, and be able to live the life that every Pug dreams of! The next morning, his first initiative was to create a peace keeping army of officers trained at the best kennels in all the land.
